"Les sages" presents a volume shaped like a pillow, where one of the most well-known views of the mountains and Lake Annecy has been embroidered with various types of yarn and threads. The piece is suspended from the ceiling, as if floating in space.

"Les sages" shows an animistic representation of the main mountain in the frame, popularly known as 'the Indian.' I thus depict an ancestral being living within this mountain, as told in legends of volcanoes and mountains in different parts of the world, notably in Ecuador and Mexico.

Exhibition created in collaboration with other artists and Art By Friends, following an artistic residency at Haras, Annecy, France.
